About the position

As the Account Manager, Amazon in the Sales team, you will play an integral role in building sales and revenue through best-in-class account management and marketplace eCommerce initiatives. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to lead sales efforts with Amazon across Land Vehicles aftermarket parts and accessories. In this role, you will own the channel strategy, manage the P&L, and drive growth through assortment optimization, promotional planning, and collaboration with product, marketing, and operations teams. You will play a key role in expanding the presence of the Dometic brand, ensuring profitable sales and strong customer relationships, while driving rapid eCommerce growth.

Your main responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sales and channel strategy for Amazon, focusing on share growth and profitability
  • Manage account P&L, pricing strategies, and promotional planning for assigned product categories
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on product development, commercialization, and omni-channel execution
  • Track and analyze sales performance and data to identify growth opportunities and improve ROI
  • Provide competitive and marketplace insights to inform strategy and strengthen account positioning
  • Deliver flawless execution including new product launches, ecommerce execution (inventory, pricing, content, and strategies)
  • Act as a leading authority on eCommerce within the Land Vehicles segment, providing valuable feedback and insights to drive the organization's growth and evolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon’s content standards, collaborating with internal teams to ensure execution.
  • Establish and implement a cooperative planning process to develop sales forecasts, plans, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with both Dometic and Amazon partners.
  • Continuously monitor, track, and analyze digital merchandising tactics and channel guidelines, adapting strategies based on data insights to optimize the online shopping journey, enhance product positioning, and drive sales.
  • Collaborate across Mobile Cooling and Marine segments as appropriate to ensure "One Dometic" in the Amazon channel.

A suitable background would be

a track record of developing successful sales strategies and growth in eCommerce marketplaces and specifically the Amazon channel as well as

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or similar
  • 7+ years in sales account management experience
  • Marketing, merchandising, or related experience preferred
  • Track record of managing projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to influence priorities and motivate cross-functional partners for support
