These routes are typically generated by Amazon's logistics system, taking into account factors like package volume, delivery addresses, traffic patterns, and driver availability. Delivery drivers, often employed by Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) or as Amazon Flex contractors, follow these routes using a mobile app that provides navigation and delivery instructions. The optimization of routes helps Amazon meet its promise of fast and reliable delivery to customers.
