- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (or a sub-matriculation master's degree program completed concurrently with or immediately after your bachelor's degree) with a graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Ability to relocate to Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA
- Ability to complete a 12-week internship starting in May or June 2027 (2-3 standard cohort start dates will be available to select from)

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking data-driven, business-minded, results-oriented interns pursuing a bachelor's or sub-matriculation master's degree in accounting. Your internship will consist of a project unique to you and your team, where you'll flex your accounting, analytical, and business acumen to optimize processes, drive quality, and solve real problems. In this role, you will partner with teams across accounting, finance, operations, and technology organizations within Amazon. Internships culminate with a capstone project presentation, where you'll showcase your results to stakeholders and leadership. If Amazon extends an inclined hire decision, you may receive an offer to join Amazon's full-time Accounting Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after completing your degree.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting (or a dual degree/sub-matriculation master's degree program completed concurrently with your bachelor's degree at the same institution) with a graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028

- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to source, summarize, and communicate data relevant to the problem at hand.
- Curiosity and desire to learn complex processes, systems, and business concepts.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application in a business context.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical and creative approach to problem solving, especially in ambiguous situations.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong academic record.
- Commitment to continuous self-development and professional growth.
