Job description

Amazon Leo is building a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites designed to deliver low-latency, high-speed broadband access to underserved and unserved communities around the world.
We're looking for a talented attorney with government contracts and transactional experience to join the Amazon Leo Legal team. This is an opportunity to be embedded with Amazon Leo, supporting government contracting compliance across a range of space technologies and customer missions. You'll review government contract solicitations and proposals, advise on subcontracts and technology development agreements, provide guidance on intellectual property matters, and help ensure compliance with U.S

and international government contracts. You'll develop creative, business-centric legal strategies and build processes that manage risk while giving the team flexibility to move quickly.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, has sound judgment, and has the inclination to be continually challenged. You will be expected to help the company take smart risks and revel at the opportunity to empower a fast-growing business


This position can be based in Arlington, VA or Redmond, WA. Some travel may be required.
