What is an Amazon reviewer?

An Amazon Reviewer is someone who evaluates and writes reviews about products sold on Amazon. Some reviewers purchase items independently, while others may receive free or discounted products in exchange for honest feedback. Amazon has strict guidelines to ensure reviews remain unbiased and authentic. Reviewers can influence potential buyers' decisions by sharing their experiences with products. However, fake or misleading reviews violate Amazon's policies and can result in penalties.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of an Amazon reviewer?

As an Amazon Reviewer, your main responsibilities include testing products you receive, carefully evaluating their features and performance, and writing clear, unbiased reviews based on your experiences. You'll spend time researching products, taking notes or photos, and ensuring your feedback complies with Amazon’s community guidelines. Reviews should be honest, thorough, and posted in a timely manner. Collaboration is usually limited, as most reviewing work is independent, but you may sometimes communicate with vendors, brands, or Amazon’s support team for clarifications. This role is ideal if you enjoy independent work, trying new products, and providing valuable insights to shoppers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Amazon reviewer position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Amazon Reviewer, you need strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment, usually supported by experience with e-commerce platforms and product evaluation. Familiarity with Amazon's review guidelines, proficiency in using Amazon's website and mobile apps, and some knowledge of content management systems are often advantageous. Objectivity, reliability, and time management are critical soft skills for consistently producing helpful and timely reviews. These skills ensure your feedback is trusted by consumers, complies with platform standards, and supports informed purchasing decisions for others.

How do you become an Amazon reviewer?

To become an Amazon reviewer, you need to create an Amazon account and start purchasing products. After making purchases, you can leave reviews based on your experience, and active, helpful reviewers may gain more visibility and credibility over time.

We are seeking a talented attorney with a passion for telecommunications regulatory law to join our growing legal team and help shape the future of global connectivity.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S

as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide U.S. and international regulatory counsel on satellite-based broadband services
- Develop and advocate legal and policy positions across domestic and international regulatory proceedings
- Partner with Amazon Leo's technical, public policy, and business teams to identify and navigate regulatory risks

- Contribute to cross-functional strategy discussions where regulatory considerations intersect with business decisions
A day in the life
No two days look the same on the Amazon Leo legal team. You might start your morning reviewing a regulatory filing with a foreign jurisdiction and close the day drafting a policy advocacy position for an FCC proceeding

You will be expected to quickly synthesize complex regulatory and technical issues, offer clear and actionable guidance, and engage confidently with stakeholders across the business. You bring a deep knowledge of telecommunications law, a willingness to dive into technical subject matter, and the judgment to make sound recommendations under uncertainty. You thrive in ambiguity and are energized by the opportunity to help build something new.
About the team
Amazon Leo's legal team sits at the intersection of new technology and highly regulated industries with a global footprint

We are a collaborative, mission-driven group of attorneys and legal professionals who partner closely with business teams to help build one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the world. Our work is fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, and deeply consequential - we are connecting communities that have never had reliable internet access.
