The Director of Growth Marketing will lead the marketing function and drive profitable growth across current and new channels, products, customer segments, and revenue streams. This leader will own growth strategy across advertising, content, catalog, brand, marketplace performance, and channel expansion. Because Amazon is a core channel, the successful candidate must bring recent, hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, content strategy, and growth programs, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy, performance analysis, and execution.

This leader will strengthen the Marketing organization by improving structure, processes, capabilities, accountability, and execution. As a member of the leadership team, they will develop the team, bring forward market insights and investment recommendations, and use data, AI, and automation to improve performance, productivity, and decision-making.

While this is a remote position, we are only able to hire candidates residing in WA or NV at this time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Zoomget's Growth Marketing team in developing and executing omnichannel strategies across Amazon and other marketplaces, paid and organic search, social media, programmatic advertising, content, email, B2B, branding, and channel expansion.
  • Set growth priorities, performance targets, and execution roadmaps across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Google, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and B2C and B2B programs.
  • Own Amazon Advertising and marketplace performance, with hands-on oversight of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, and AMC. Evaluate advertising alongside pricing, Buy Box, listing health, content, conversion, organic rank, inventory, contribution margin, and incremental growth.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that create transparency across channels. Use performance data, statistical analysis, competitive intelligence, and market insights to recommend budgets and investments to leadership.
  • Identify, test, and scale growth opportunities across products, categories, customer segments, promotions, retention programs, marketplaces, and other eCommerce channels. Develop the supporting business case, go-to-market strategy, and launch plan.
  • Create and lead integrated B2C and B2B campaigns that improve customer experience, reach new and existing audiences, generate qualified leads, increase purchases, and strengthen retention and brand awareness.
  • Monitor competitors and marketplace trends to clarify Zoomget's position, identify risks and opportunities, increase market share, and inform the broader business.
  • Assess and strengthen the Marketing organization's structure, roles, capabilities, workflows, and performance management. Coach the team to improve strategic thinking, ownership, execution, and accountability.
  • Establish scalable processes, operating rhythms, and KPI governance that keep priorities clear, make progress visible, accelerate decisions, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Provide thought leadership and lead Marketing's adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technology to improve productivity, reporting, campaign management, creative workflows, testing, and decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT/Data, eCommerce, and executive leadership to align investments, priorities, resources, and growth initiatives.
  • Own Marketing's business plans, P&L, annual budget, forecasting, and performance reporting, with a strong focus on ROI and profitable growth. Regularly present results, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications / Key Competencies

  • 8–10+ years of experience in growth marketing, Amazon advertising, eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related leadership role, including 5+ years managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading omnichannel growth across marketplaces, paid and organic search, social media, programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, email and lifecycle marketing, eCommerce, and B2B demand generation.
  • Required: recent, hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising at meaningful scale, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display; experience with Amazon DSP and AMC is strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Amazon marketplace performance drivers, including catalog and listing management, content strategy, retail readiness, campaign structure, search terms, placements, bidding, budgets, attribution, ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, conversion, organic rank, pricing, Buy Box, account health, and inventory.
  • Demonstrated success building Amazon content, advertising, and growth programs that improve discoverability, customer acquisition, conversion, repeat purchase, revenue, and profitability.
  • Strong advertising and investment judgment, with the ability to set targets, allocate budgets, evaluate incrementality, diagnose performance, and determine where to invest for profitable growth.
  • Experience balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment, while strengthening team capabilities, workflows, systems, accountability, and scalability.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business planning, P&L management, forecasting, budget allocation, and balancing growth, profitability, efficiency, and brand considerations.
  • Experience using analytics, AI, automation, and marketing technology to improve decision-making and team output; familiarity with Power BI, Google Analytics, and Rithum, or comparable platforms, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish priorities, create focus, hold teams accountable, and translate data into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence leadership, gain cross-functional alignment, and communicate complex performance issues clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Sales, or a related field.

Target Hiring Range: $130,000–$180,000 base + bonus potential + 401(k)
