The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

We are looking for a SQL Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to join our AWS team. This individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for you will work directly with AWS customers to design cloud-based analytics solutions using Amazon Redshift and the broader SQL Analytics ecosystem (including Redshift Serverless, data sharing, Amazon Redshift ML, zero-ETL integrations, Data Lake architecture, Iceberg tables, S3 tables, Athena, and the SageMaker Lakehouse). You will help customers build the data foundation required to get the most out of their AI projects and investments

In AWS, you'll find teams of focused builders whose ability to invent is only limited by their imaginations. As a trusted customer advocate, the specialist solutions architect will help organizations understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.

The ability to link technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect.
Key job responsibilities
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
