Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, enhance, and support Master Data Management applications and related data services. (Prefered)
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related frameworks.
  • Build and support cloud-native microservices on AWS, leveraging services such as:
    • Amazon ECS
    • Amazon EC2
    • AWS Lambda
  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using Amazon Redshift and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex database logic using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, integration, and distribution patterns across enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with business, data management, architecture, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and ongoing operational improvements.
  • Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, availability, logging, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and release planning activities.

Required Experience

  • Experience building and supporting a Master Data Management application.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java enterprise application development.
  • Experience designing and building cloud-native microservices in AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS, EC2, and Lambda functions.
  • Experience working with Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and analytics workloads.
  • Experience working with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL-based relational databases.
  • Strong database development skills using SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, metadata, and enterprise data management concepts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application, data, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms or regulated business environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance, reference data, golden record management, survivorship rules, and data stewardship workflows.
  • Experience with API-based data distribution and service-oriented architecture.
