Job description

The Delivery Experience team is responsible for how customers experience delivery - from the speed, convenience, and selection features customers see on the site every day, to launching Prime delivery benefits and other new programs for customers around the world. The Finance Manager Sub-Same Day will provide financial support and strategic thought leadership for our Sub-Same Day Delivery program, including analysis of strategic initiatives such as better speed offerings, delivery windows, and selection optimization.
This role supports some of Amazon's highest-priority investments - improving delivery speed and reducing cost to serve. You will partner with Operations, Transportation, and Product teams to build financial models, develop insights, and drive decision-making for programs that receive regular Sr

A successful candidate will be skilled at 1) engaging in ideation with business partners 2) partnering with stakeholders across the business and financial spectrum 3) juggling multiple deliverables 4) communicating clearly and concisely with leaders and peers 5) anticipating and resolving roadblocks 6) engaging in back of the envelope math on the fly as well as in depth financial analysis.
Key job responsibilities
- Building and maintaining financial models to support Sub-Same Day program decisions, including P&L analysis, scenario modeling, and cost-benefit frameworks
- Partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, Prime, and Retail teams to understand drivers of Delivery Experience performance
- Developing insights and recommendations that inform strategic trade-offs between delivery speed, customer experience, and cost efficiency
- Supporting all financial planning cycles including Month End Close, Quarterly Forecasts, and annual Operating Plan (OP1/OP2)
- Creating and improving reporting infrastructure - building scalable tools, dashboards, and processes that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility
- Preparing materials for senior leadership reviews.
