Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the full software development lifecycle for mission-critical enterprise applications supporting the Intelligence Community. This role involves designing, developing, enhancing, testing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable applications while working within Agile development teams.

The ideal candidate possesses strong experience with SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, cloud technologies, and modern full stack development. This position requires close collaboration with project managers, architects, security engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications supporting mission operations.
  • Support the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, accreditation, deployment, and operations & maintenance.
  • Develop both front-end and back-end application components using modern development frameworks and programming languages.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and deliver work in 2–3-week sprint increments.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and custom application solutions.
  • Build secure RESTful and SOAP web services supporting enterprise integrations.
  • Develop cloud-based applications and automate infrastructure provisioning within AWS environments.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve system alarms.
  • Conduct system vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Develop automated testing scripts and execute unit, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure applications meet usability, accessibility, and user-centered design standards.
  • Utilize DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous software delivery.
  • Ensure software solutions comply with security requirements, Sponsor policies, and enterprise development standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting SharePoint sites and custom SharePoint applications.
  • Experience designing and developing applications using ServiceNow and Salesforce platforms.
  • Experience enhancing, optimizing, scaling, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript and modern web development technologies.
  • Experience developing applications on low-code and no-code platforms.
  • Experience automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
  • Experience providing application support and requirements analysis.
