Job description

  • Manage and coordinate all daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping for both retail and e-commerce channels
  • Oversee accurate and timely fulfillment of online orders, ensuring adherence to carrier deadlines and customer delivery expectations
  • Coordinate outbound retail shipments to store locations or wholesale partners, maintaining compliance with routing guides and vendor requirements
  • Develop and maintain a robust inventory management system; conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor stock levels, identify replenishment needs, and work with purchasing and supply chain teams to prevent shortages or overstock situations
  • Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for warehouse staff covering safety, equipment operation, pick/pack procedures, and inventory processes
  • Supervise, schedule, and evaluate warehouse team members; foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Track and report key warehouse KPIs including order accuracy, fill rates, on-time shipments, and inventory shrinkage
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment; enforce all safety policies and procedures
  • Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) or process improvements to increase throughput and reduce errors

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience, with exposure to both retail and direct-to-consumer (e-commerce) fulfillment operations
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory management practices including cycle counting, shrinkage control, and stock reconciliation
  • Proven track record of training and developing warehouse staff at various skill levels
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification; experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-from-the-floor management style
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-channel fulfillment platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, EDI retail compliance, or similar)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience managing seasonal volume fluctuations and peak fulfillment periods
