As we continue to modernize our technology ecosystem, we are seeking an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations across the Bank's critical applications.

This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and well-governed integrations using modern API and middleware technologies, including MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The Integration Engineer will partner with application teams, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable integrations between internal systems, cloud platforms, and third-party fintech providers.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with API-led integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration platforms in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Development

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and related technologies.
  • Build and manage APIs (REST and SOAP) that support internal systems, partner integrations, and digital banking platforms.
  • Implement API-led connectivity patterns including System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
  • Develop reusable integration components and services to accelerate delivery across the organization.

Platform and Architecture

  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture to implement scalable integration solutions aligned with the bank's technology standards.
  • Support event-driven and microservices-based architectures using messaging and streaming technologies.
  • Manage API lifecycle including design, documentation, versioning, security, and monitoring.

Application Integration

  • Integrate core banking platforms, digital channels, SaaS platforms, and internal systems.
  • Develop connectors and integrations for systems including CRM, loan origination, data platforms, and vendor fintech solutions.
  • Work closely with development teams to enable integration between .NET applications, cloud services, and internal platforms.

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure integrations meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards required in financial services.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, and certificate-based security.
  • Partner with risk and security teams to ensure integrations meet internal governance policies.

Operational Support

  • Monitor integration performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate incident resolution with application teams and vendors.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise application integration or API development.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Anypoint Studio, and Runtime Manager.
  • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns such as API-led architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and event-driven messaging.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MuleSoft certifications (Developer or Integration Architect).
  • Experience integrating with financial services platforms or core banking systems.
  • Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka or service buses.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as Salesforce or digital banking systems.
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures and microservices-based environments.
