Envision is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our established Emergency Medicine team at Desert View Hospital, offering a supportive culture and a rewarding clinical practice.

Requirements

Must have 1 year of Emergency Department experience.

Position Profile
  • 21,000 annual ED volume
  • 12% admission rate
  • 17% transfer rate (higher level of care)
  • Bed layout
    • 11 main ED beds
    • 4 hallway beds (typically in use during peak hours)
    • 5 Fast Track beds/chairs
    • During daytime hours (roughly 11am-8pm), the ED, hallway beds, and Fast Track are often completely full. Night shifts are significantly slower
  • APP coverage
    • 10am - 10pm only
    • No night coverage required
  • Cerner EMR
  • W2 status with comprehensive benefits package
