About Us
Welcome to Cerium Networks-where technology, relationships, and execution come together.
Cerium Networks is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in cybersecurity, networking, data center, unified communications, contact center, managed services, and emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence. We help organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest solve complex business and technology challenges through consulting, engineering, implementation, and ongoing support. Our clients are backed by the Cerium Support Center, our 24/7/365 managed services organization with resources in the United States and the Philippines.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, competitive Account Executive to develop net-new business across the Pacific Northwest.
This is a true hunter role. You will build your territory through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, partner relationships, events, and in-person meetings.
The accounts you win become your accounts to retain, develop, and grow. Early success will be measured by activity, meetings created, and pipeline generation. Long-term success will be measured by new logos, revenue growth, and client relationships.
What You'll Do - Build New Business
  • Prospect into net-new accounts across the Pacific Northwest.
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity, including high-volume calling when appropriate.
  • Research target accounts and decision-makers to create new opportunities.
  • Use calls, email, social selling, referrals, partner relationships, and in-person prospecting to book meetings.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of net-new business.
  • Attend Cerium, manufacturer, and networking events to develop relationships and generate opportunities.

Own the Sales Process
  • Manage opportunities from prospecting through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead business-outcome-focused conversations with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Cerium engineers, architects, manufacturers, and service delivery partners to develop client solutions.
  • Understand client business goals, technology environments, procurement processes, and decision-making structures.
  • Maintain accurate opportunities, activities, next steps, and forecasts in Cerium's CRM.

How Success Will Be Measured
Success will initially focus on the leading indicators that build a strong territory
  • Consistent outbound prospecting activity
  • New meetings booked
  • Qualified opportunities and net-new pipeline created
  • In-person prospect and customer engagement
  • Effective use of manufacturer and partner relationships

As your territory develops, success will increasingly be measured by:
  • New logos won
  • Revenue and gross profit generated
  • Pipeline growth and conversion
  • Account growth and retention
  • Consistent achievement of sales targets

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in B2B technology sales, particularly in cloud-based solutions and SaaS.
  • A genuine hunter mentality and the drive to create opportunities.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound activity and persistence through rejection.
  • Strong prospecting, account research, territory planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to meet prospects face-to-face throughout the Pacific Northwest.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and connect them to technology solutions.
  • Strong organization, discipline, time management, and accountability to measurable goals.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, manufacturers, partners, and Cerium associates.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, including Artificial Intelligence.

Location: Spokane, WA (onsite)
Who Will Thrive Here
  • You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building something from the ground up.
  • You are comfortable developing a blank territory, initiating conversations, attending events, and creating relationships.
  • You understand that building a successful book of business requires consistent activity, persistence, and face-to-face engagement.
  • If you want to build your own book, win new clients, and grow with Cerium, we want to talk to you.
