Job description

Lead the digital transformation of the world's most iconic Retail and Consumer Goods brands - from global quick-service restaurants to multinational fashion retailers - by driving cloud and AI adoption at the C-suite level. As an Account Manager on the AWS Retail & CPG team, you will own strategic relationships with named enterprise customers across multiple geographies, helping them unlock business value through generative AI, data modernization, and cloud-first strategies.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology and the world's most dynamic retail markets. You'll partner with CxOs, IT leaders, and line-of-business executives to identify transformative opportunities, build compelling business cases, and accelerate AWS adoption - all while being supported by specialists across AI/ML, data, migration, and partners.
Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue and market share growth across a defined portfolio of global Retail & CPG enterprise accounts spanning multiple countries and regions
Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow AWS footprint, with an emphasis on generative AI (Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q), data & analytics, and application modernization
Build and maintain executive-level relationships (CxO, VP, IT Director) across headquarters and regional subsidiaries to deeply understand customer business objectives and map AWS solutions to outcomes
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services aligned to retail industry challenges (e.g., supply chain optimization, omnichannel, personalisation, demand forecasting)
Coordinate cross-region sales motions, aligning local account teams and global stakeholders to deliver a unified customer experience
Manage a robust sales pipeline; meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Architects, Partner teams, Professional Services, and ISVs to deliver end-to-end customer outcomes
Leverage the AWS Partner ecosystem and AWS Marketplace to drive co-sell and joint value delivery
Represent the voice of the customer internally, influencing AWS product and go-to-market strategy for the global retail segment
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic relationship building and solution crafting: diving deep into customer ecosystems, identifying unique business challenges, and mapping transformative solutions that drive meaningful impact. You bring a sales, business, and technical background that enables you to drive cloud adoption and AI/ML outcomes at the CXO level, as well as engage with software developers, IT architects, and other line-of-business executives.
