Job description

The NA Logistics Operations, Sourcing & Strategy is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of logistics solutions that achieve the requirements of the Amazon Fulfillment Network (AFN), serving as a critical linkage across Amazon Robotics teams to ensure cost-effective and innovative logistics strategies and solutions are designed, developed and executed to ensure Fulfillment Center (FC) deployment targets are achieved.
Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for NA logistics operations team leadership: Receiving, shipping, inventory control, cost, 3PL performance, and all related SLAs, KPIs, CIs. Holds 3PLs accountable.


- Lead RFP process for metering center projects. Strategically negotiate cost effective contracts.
- Develops monthly logistics budget.

Achieves monthly budget targets.
- Responsible for quality, performance, and capacity of 3PL logistics providers.
- Develops network strategies to deliver POR plan
- Thought leader for cost efficiencies and frugality initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence by developing and improving KPIs and SLAs.
- Manage daily plans to exceed expectations for 3PL labor productivity, inventory control and order accuracy.
- Identify process improvements, cost optimization and sustainability initiatives in collaboration with Robotics Supply Chain leadership.
- Effectively manage and deliver projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Support contract negotiations, ramp-ups and ramp down of warehouses.
- Prioritize projects and data flow improvements (eg. EDI), evaluate and set stakeholder expectations.
