Job description

Job Summary:
Capital Solutions Group (CSG) is seeking a Senior System Administrator with a focus on Linux system administration and cloud infrastructure management. The role involves facilitating infrastructure management, ensuring compliance and security, and delivering automation to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment
• Support the project’s compliance and security posture
• Focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly
• Check emails for alerts
• Check VM's (virtual machines) health status
• Address any outages
• Install latest patches on EC2 Instances/VMs
• Ensure Orgs production website is working
• Run Monthly Security Scans on systems
• Lead implementation of Accreditation process according to DISA stigs, CIS Benchmarks and NIST
• Build ansible playbooks to enhance security and compliance posture of centos, and Amazon Linux 2 OS’s
• Collaborate with interdependent organizations to achieve mission objectives
• Administer/maintain AWS EC2 cloud infrastructure and Utilize Docker to scale up cloud assets
• Continuously monitor the health and status of security tool suites through IT system management
• Maintain, upgrade, refresh, and update to maintain full operational capacity
• Utilize grafana to monitor health of systems
• Write scripts to manage maturity of system redundancy
• Troubleshoot degradation of application performance and infrastructure via docker queries
• Collaborate and coordinate with ancillary organizations to procure, deliver, dispose, and track and new HW/SW required for solution implementation
• Prepare Configuration Plans, SW enhancement plans, and engineer solutions to easily interface with UI and/or web front-end interfaces
• Partake in gathering an analyzing user requirements
• Develop and code software solutions via yaml
• Debug existing and newly developed software and correct insufficiencies
• Test and integrate systems into legacy applications
• Write up MySQL data queries to derive mission-essential data for metrics
Qualifications:
Required:
• SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with both Polygraphs is required
• Linux system administration
• Docker
• AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience
• GitLab Pipeline
• Ansible Pipeline
• High school + 12 years minimum experience, OR
• Associates degree + 10 years minimum experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years minimum experience, OR
• Master’s degree + 6 years minimum experience, OR
• Doctorate’s degree + 4 years minimum experience
