Overview
Verilogue's Application Development (AppDev) Department provides the company and its clients with a reliable, scalable and secure technology infrastructure that maximizes operational efficiencies and produces rich and rewarding user experiences.  Verilogue is seeking a developer to support the delivery of technology solutions for the company and its clients.
Primary Job Responsibilities
-  Analyze business problems and gather and document functional and technical design specifications
-  Develop innovative public and internal-facing applications and services using various technologies      and frameworks
Key Competencies
-  Solid understanding of web and mobile application architectures, including the Model, View,           Controller design principle

-  Proficiency in database design principles as well as SQL skills

-  Experience with the following technologies and frameworks:
          (1)  Java
          (2)  Spring framework
          (3)  Hibernate
          (4)  Amazon Web Services (AWS)
          (5)  JUnit
          (6)  HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
          (7)  JavaScript
          (8)  jQuery
          (9)  AngularJS
          (10) MySQL

-  Experience with iOS and Android development

-  Familiarity with agile software development methodologies

-  Familiarity with network and server administration is a plus

-  Experience with embedded multimedia and multimedia processing is a plus

-  Experience with hybrid mobile development is a plus

-  Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

-  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field
-  2+ years of prior software development experience
-  Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
