Job description

We are looking for an innovative HR professional to join the Amazon International Stores PXT team as a Principal HR Business Partner supporting Global Prime as we continue to build a best-in-class service offering.

The Principal HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to the Global Prime leadership team. Based in Seattle, this role will be a part of a fun, passionate and dynamic HR and business team and requires strong team collaboration with other parts of Amazon PXT. This role is critical in defining and executing our talent agenda by working backward from the customer and driving HR thought leadership and functional excellence.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate:
- The ability to understand and use business goals to recommend new talent approaches to effect continual improvements in a growing business through our people.
- A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- Experience with organizational design and facilitating change management within a rapid and complex changing work environment.
- Must be able to interface, coach and mentor senior leadership levels in the organization.
- Success in creating and driving effective full cycle talent development programs using a data driven approach.
- The ability to think big but also not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves."
- A strong solutions focus and comfort working in an environment that values impact over effort.
- The ability to effectively lead and influence HR teams without direct authority.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 6+ years of human resources leadership, or 10+ years of human resources leadership experience
- 2+ years of HR Generalist or HR Specialist in a corporate environment experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Can travel and relocate as appropriate
- Experience in leadership work as an HR generalist, preferably in a high tech environment
- Experience assessing management and executive talent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
