Job description

F.A.E Distributors is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on time. We offer full and part-time opportunities.
Amazon-branded vehicle provided! Non-CDL delivery driver!
Approximate hours are 10 am to 8 pm. Shifts can be up to 10 hours per day, and shifts are available 7 days per week.

Delivery Driver Basic Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid (unexpired), non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards where/when applicable.
  • Good driving record and follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations and Company policies
  • Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information
  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
  • Must be able to use technology (mobile device for GPS and Customer Delivery Instruction)
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to drive at night/in the dark
  • Must be comfortable driving and working at night/in the dark
  • Load, unload, prepare, and sort packages to be delivered
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds each frequently
  • Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform a safety inspection of the delivery vehicle at the beginning and the end of each shift
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
  • Ability to safely operate assigned delivery vans with a weight rating of up to 16,000 pounds at all times
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Timely report for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language
  • Ability to successfully handle and timely deliver customer packages
  • Follow routes and complete route in the shift time scheduled or assigned route time whichever is sooner
  • Ability to maintain focus and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, dispatchers, managers, and Amazon employees
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction, despite potentially stressful events/conditions
  • Willingness to be a team player, and help others, work together and provide rescue assistance to other drivers if needed once the driver has completed his/her route for the shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations
