We are looking for an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to join the US Sales Team. An Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business and selling UVeye automated vehicle inspection technology to auto dealerships and independent service shops in their region. You will work with dealerships of various sizes, from Dealer Principals to CEOs, and consult on all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the sales process, demonstrate success in selling complex solutions and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed personal sales targets and other corporate objectives.
  • Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and referrals.
  • Lead the sales process, from initial contract through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Travel extensively in territory to prospect in-store, build trusted relationships with prospective customers, and conduct sales meetings.
  • Effectively utilize Sales Technology (Salesforce, Hubspot, Highspot, etc.) including tracking all activity and leveraging reports and sales tools to efficiently manage development.
  • Leverage your preferred methodology to uncover need for UVeye solutions with prospects (e.g., Integrity Selling Process, Challenger Sales Model, etc.)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Account Management to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and proper hand-offs to the rest of the org.
  • Represent the company appropriately in the field, at conferences, and during Dealer Demo Days.
  • Understand and continually develop the UVeye value proposition within your territory and at trade events.
Requirements
  • 3+ years in a B2B sales environment, preferably automotive SaaS or hardware sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual goals.
  • Experience in executing a formal sales process, from approach/prospecting to closing.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry, dealership operations/processes, and the automotive technology landscape.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Experience using a CRM methodically for sales success, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (drive & fly).

Compensation:

UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, skills, location, education, and operational needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation or benefits. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000. In addition, this position is also eligible for Commission.
