Job description

Executive Housekeeper
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Compensation: $45+ per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, plus overnight stays during family travel
Start Date: ASAP (Target Hire Date: June 16)
Position Overview
A private family in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily care, cleanliness, and organization of their residence. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of the home's upkeep with minimal direction. This is a hands-on role for someone who naturally takes initiative, anticipates household needs, and maintains exceptionally high standards. The family does have a 10-year-old in the home and college age children who return during school breaks/summer, resulting in increased household activity and laundry volume throughout the year. The role also includes periodic house-sitting responsibilities during family travel. The Housekeeper will provide attentive care for the family's extra large, 9-year-old dog and two cats. The family's pets are considered members of the family, and the candidate must genuinely love animals and provide the same level of care and attention the owners would themselves. A private guest bedroom and bathroom will be provided during overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Home Maintenance
  • Full-service housekeeping and daily upkeep of the residence
  • Kitchen maintenance, including dishes, countertops, appliance exteriors, and organization
  • Dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and general tidying throughout the home
  • Bedroom and bathroom cleaning and maintenance (5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms - not all will require daily cleaning)
  • Weekly bed linen changes
  • Laundry, folding, ironing, and wardrobe care
  • Putting away laundry and maintaining organized closets and storage spaces
  • Cleaning and organizing refrigerators, pantries, cabinets, and household storage areas
  • Maintaining bar areas, decorative items, and frequently used living spaces
  • Light outdoor maintenance, including cleaning patio furniture and outdoor kitchen areas
  • Ensuring the residence remains guest-ready at all times

Household Management
  • Maintain inventory of household supplies, including cleaning products, paper goods, toiletries, and pet supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking through the family's Amazon account
  • Receive and organize deliveries. packages and dry cleaning
  • Put away groceries and household purchases
  • Remove expired food, empty containers, and unnecessary household clutter
  • Organize closets, cabinets, pantries, and storage areas on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate and oversee vendors, repair technicians, and service providers
  • Remain in the home during service appointments and confirm work is completed properly
  • Maintain records, receipts, warranties, and project-related paperwork as needed
  • Watering indoor plants

Pet Care
  • Daily care of one large dog and two cats
  • Morning dog walks and assistance with daily pet routines
  • Order, organize, and maintain pet food and supplies
  • Provide companionship, supervision, and attentive care while the family is away
  • Build a trusting relationship with the family's dog
  • Ensure all pets receive the same level of care, consistency, and attention they receive from their owners

House Sitting & Travel Coverage
The Executive Housekeeper will stay in the family's guest suite during travel periods and be responsible for maintaining the residence and caring for the pets. Approximately 4-5 weeks of house-sitting coverage is required throughout the year.
Expected travel coverage includes:
  • June 15 - July 2
  • Approximately two weeks in late July/early August
  • Occasional long weekends throughout the fall
  • Two-to-three-week travel periods during January, February, and April

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of Executive Housekeeper experience within a private estate, HNW, or UHNW household
  • Proven longevity supporting private principals and maintaining luxury residences
  • Strong knowledge of fine home care, organization, and household standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining an immaculate home
  • Strong laundry, linen care, and wardrobe management skills
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs without supervision
  • Comfortable caring for large dogs and multiple pets
  • Trustworthy, discreet, professional, and dependable
  • Excellent verifiable references and clean background check required
  • Fluent in English for seamless communication
  • Must be a true lover of animals
