Job description

Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description

The Material Handler will primarily focus on labeling and packaging products, palletizing them for shipment, and handling both receiving and shipping tasks via UPS. This role involves covering manufacturing barcodes with Amazon barcodes, as well as applying various other labels, such as expiration dates and warning labels. The Material Handler will also be responsible for maintaining product control using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, accurately entering data regarding daily output and job requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Label and package products according to Amazon requirements.
  • Palletize products for shipment and prepare them for UPS pickup.
  • Perform basic warehouse duties including receiving and shipping.
  • Cover manufacturing barcodes with Amazon barcodes and apply additional labels as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to keep track of product control and data entry for daily outputs.
  • Follow pick lists and become familiar with product locations.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and product tracking.
