About the Role:
Multi Logistics Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Local CDL Rail Driver to join our team as an Amazon contractor based out of South Gate, CA.  Intermodal (Rail, UP, BNSF) experience preffered, will train.  We currently have short shifts available 3/12's that include one weekend day, or night.  Thurs - Sat Days, and Nights $32/hr with exp, $28/hr w/o experience, and will train. Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) for local rail-to-destination freight transport on behalf of Amazon
  • Pick up and deliver freight loads from rail yards and distribution hubs in and around South Gate, CA
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and rail yard personnel
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured and load integrity is maintained throughout transport
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required
  • Clean MVR with a strong safety record
  • Experience with local or regional freight, rail yard, or intermodal operations preferred
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
  • Familiarity with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery windows
  • Dependable, professional, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
