What does an Amazon picker do?

An Amazon Picker is responsible for locating and retrieving items from shelves in an Amazon warehouse to fulfill customer orders. They use handheld scanners or mobile devices to receive picking instructions and ensure the correct products are selected. The role involves walking through large warehouse areas, picking items efficiently, and placing them in bins or totes for packing and shipping. Attention to detail and accuracy are vital to ensure the right products are shipped to customers. Pickers also help maintain inventory accuracy and may assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Amazon picker, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Amazon Picker, you need strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions, typically requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.
