Carrier Sales Manager



As a Carrier Sales Manager, you are responsible for every full truckload shipment that is in Shipwell's network. These responsibilities include managing your team to ensure that all loads are properly covered, timely and accurate dispatching procedures are followed, tracking and tracing of the shipments are adhering to company SOP, and delivery clearance and collection of all necessary paperwork to include the Proof of Delivery is being maintained.


WHAT YOU WILL DO WHEN YOU GET HERE


  • Daily booking, coordinating, scheduling, and tracking of all shipments within your team

  • Vetting new and established motor carriers for eligibility to transport freight

  • Managing and maintaining effective relationships within the carrier network

  • Obtaining and collecting billing documents from carriers

  • Working with the Director of Carrier Sales on continued improvements, training, and coaching

  • Assisting with quoting on freight within the network

  • Coaching, training, and managing every member within your carrier team

  • Pursuing ELD Integrations with Shipwell's Carrier Partners

  • Other tasks assigned by the Director of Carrier Sales


WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years' applicable experience in carrier sales, customer sales experience is a plus

  • Experience managing a team

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Proficiency in Excel
