Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join theirR&D Product Engineering team and take a technical leadership role in the design and development of advanced electrical and electronic systems. This is an opportunity to work on complex medical devices, electro-mechanical systems, and connected technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical architecture, circuit design, simulation, prototyping, debugging, and hands-on development of complex systems.
  • Design and troubleshoot electrical systems meeting IEC 60601 EMC and safety requirements.
  • Develop and test PCB functional blocks and support hardware/software integration and debugging.
  • Drive medical device Design Controls, including design inputs, verification strategies, test protocols, and verification reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, development partners, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and interns while promoting strong electrical engineering practices.
  • Support continuous improvement across electrical design, development, testing, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience developing complex electrical/electronic systems, preferably within medical devices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong experience with analog/digital circuit design, PCB development, and Altium.
  • Experience with hardware/software integration, lab instrumentation, circuit debugging, soldering, prototyping, and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M, RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr, and communication protocols including SPI, I2C, and CAN.
  • Strong understanding of FDA medical device Design Controls, ISO/MDR requirements, verification and validation, and translating user needs into design inputs.
  • Experience with circuit calculations, SPICE simulation, statistical methods/DOE, and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
