Job description

WTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are seeking an Occasional Part-time Mailroom & Building Services Assistant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive company vehicle to pick up and drop off mail from the Post Office
• Receive and process loading dock deliveries
• Pick up sweepstakes from caller window - seasonal pick up schedule
• Log in overnight deliveries and sort and distribute mail/packages throughout the day
• Pick up and distribute inter-office mail
• Operate postage meter for outgoing mail and maintain postage allocations by dept.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS, FedEx and Amazon packages
• On call for light cleaning/deliver cases of copier paper or water upon request
• Daily coffee machine maintenance - refill/empty coffee machine
• Assist with setup of rooms for meetings, parties, special events and pledge
• Moving of office furniture and misc. office equipment upon request
• Assist with misc. office services or courier runs upon request
• Recycle paper pick-up throughout the building per scheduled days
• Parking lot duties upon request
• Other duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Flexible schedule
• Driver's License with good driving record
• Detail oriented with good communication skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks
• Able to retain pertinent information
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must practice office discretion with sensitive information
SALARY RANGE: $18-22/hour
