River Road Freight is seeking full-time motivated CDL-A drivers at Romeoville, IL.

We are a small local business with a personal, supportive and respectful culture BUT the benefits of a large company.

We operate semis only, on dedicated routes between distribution centers, within a 1,000 mile/round-trip, primarily drop and hook freight for a national customer. We offer brand new state-of-the-art equipment and you will be back home every other day!

Remuneration and Benefits:

What you’ll need:
  • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A) & Be 21 years of age or older
  • Clean driving record and successful completion of DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug test,
  • No history of CDL suspension, revocation, or failed/refused drug or alcohol tests in the last 5 years (this includes DWI’s, DUI’s and BAC’s),
  • Match Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements imposed by the DOT & have a positive Drive-A-Check (DAC) Report,
  • Be able to learn and effectively use GPS, handheld technology, and smartphone applications.
  • Fluent in English for written and spoken effective communication,
  • Flexibility with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends) and reliably commute to Romeoville, IL for shift start – River Road Freight’s truck yard.
