Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly skilled and execution-driven Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to own and scale our marketplace channels, with a primary focus on Amazon and secondary responsibility across Walmart.com and emerging marketplaces such as TikTok Shop and others. 

This role will be instrumental in driving marketplace performance across all areas of the business - from listings, advertising, and catalog management to inventory coordination, reporting, and analytics. You will play a key role in accelerating growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring best-in-class execution across our marketplace ecosystem. 

Working closely with the Ecommerce team and directly alongside the VP of Ecommerce, you will take ownership of day-to-day marketplace execution, optimization, and performance - helping drive revenue growth while enabling leadership to focus on broader strategic initiatives. 

This is a hands-on operator role for someone who moves quickly, solves problems proactively, and knows how to turn data, insights, and execution into measurable business results. 

Key Responsibilities 

Amazon Channel Ownership (Primary Focus) 

  • Fully own Amazon Seller/Vendor Central operations end-to-end  
  • Manage and optimize product listings (SEO, titles, bullets, A+ content, storefront)  
  • Execute and continuously optimize PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, etc.)  
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics: conversion rate, TACoS, ACoS, CTR, CVR, session share, CAC  
  • Own and maintain catalog health: suppressions, stranded inventory, listing issues, variations  
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to support inventory forecasting inventory forecasting and FBA performance (in-stock rates, sell-through, storage limits)  
  • Identify and execute marketplace growth initiatives across traffic, conversion, assortment, and profitability 

Marketplace Expansion & Optimization 

  • Support Walmart.com and other marketplaces (setup, optimization, troubleshooting) *same responsibilities above as Amazon channel. 
  • Identify opportunities for assortment expansion and marketplace-specific strategies  

Performance & Analytics 

  • Analyze marketplace & per SKU data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities  
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards for weekly/monthly performance  
  • Provide actionable insights - not just data  

Execution & Speed 

  • Rapidly implement changes and optimizations across listings, ads, and backend systems without bottlenecks  
  • Troubleshoot issues directly with Seller Support when needed  
  • Own timelines and deliverables to ensure consistent, high-quality execution  

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work with Marketing & Creative team to develop high-converting content  
  • Partner with supply chain on forecasting and inventory planning  
  • Align with leadership on promotional strategy and growth initiatives

Requirements


  • 4-6+ years of in-depth hands-on Amazon experience (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central)  
  • Proven track record of growing Amazon revenue and improving efficiency metrics  
  • Deep expertise in Amazon PPC strategy, campaign structure, optimization, scaling, and performance analysis 
  • Experience leveraging AI and modern ecommerce tools to improve workflow efficiency, content development, analysis, and execution speed 
  • Strong understanding of Amazon SEO and conversion + ranking factors  
  • Experience with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Data Dive, or similar  
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (data analysis, forecasting, reporting, etc.)  
  • Experience managing complex Amazon catalogs across multiple brands, large SKU counts, and variation structures 

Preferred 

  • Experience managing $20M-$50M+ annual Amazon revenue, as well as proven success scaling Amazon revenue and accelerating marketplace growth 
  • Familiarity with Walmart and Walmart's PPC, plus other Ecommerce Marketplaces  
  • Experience in CPG, supplements, or better-for-you food/beverage products

  • Improved listing quality and conversion rates across priority SKUs  
  • Well-structured, scalable PPC campaigns with improving efficiency (TACoS trending down, revenue growing, gaining marketshare)  
  • Strong catalog health with minimal suppressions or operational issues  
  • Improved in-stock rates and coordination with inventory planning  
  • Increased speed and consistency of execution across marketplace initiativesÂ
