Job description

Automotive Sales Manager

Manage retail business including sales process, finance, and sales team.  Assist in the management of all other store processes as needed and support omni-channel sales.

Wage: Base salary plus sales based commissions averaging per year $94,209/yr , specifically $21.10/hr + anticipated average commissions of $50,321/yr

What You'll Do:

Sales

  1. Manage and lead the sales team
    1. Including scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and performance management
    2. Conduct daily 1 on 1 Save a Deal Meetings 
  2. Drive strong CRM metric performance and accountability
    1. Activities per lead
    2. Appt Set 20%+

  3. Support Digital Retailing initiatives, including Rent2Buy, Upstream, Amazon, other Partners

Finance

  1. Ensure completion of Finance deal packages
  2. Work with Sales Consultants on finance processing and metrics
  3. Support the Finance and Insurance process and performance

Store Management

  1. Do the right thing always. Achieve high customer service score (NPS) and monitor store compliance
  2. Train Sales Staff in customer interaction and processes
  3. Support inventory and reconditioning processes as well as omni-channel sales

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 years' experience in Car Sales
  • Experience in auto dealership or auto financing preferred
  • 1 year of management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in car sales management
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
  • Ability to influence
  • Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
