Job description

Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) is seeking a strategic and commercially-driven leader for the role of Sr. Business Manager, Domestic Physical Home Entertainment. This position will own the planning, execution, and long-term portfolio management of physical home entertainment across the United States and Canada and provide strategic and operational guidance for local international physical home entertainment partners.

This role has accountability for strategy, revenue, and profitability across Amazon MGM Studio's new release film and television and an extensive catalog library. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in physical media distribution, go-to-market strategy, and content lifecycle management, combined with the cross-functional leadership skills to deliver best-in-class consumer offerings and business results. This role requires exceptional relationship-building capability and the ability to engage effectively with talent, filmmakers, producers, studio leadership, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Key job responsibilities
Lead U.S

and Canada physical home entertainment strategy, owning end-to-end go-to-market execution across Blu-ray, 4K UHD, DVD, collector's editions, and specialty formats - driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share for new-release and catalog titles.
Partner with senior leadership, talent, directors, producers, and studio executives to establish commercial priorities, align on release strategies, and present business recommendations and performance analyses.
Drive product innovation and consumer experience across new release launches and catalog initiatives, including re-releases, anniversary editions, franchise collections, and retailer-exclusive offerings.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with creative, marketing, sales, operations, franchise, and publicity teams to ensure successful launch execution and maximize content lifecycle value.
Manage the Domestic third-party physical disc licensing relationships for the catalog - owning the strategic licensing approach, overseeing deal execution, and ensuring partner alignment on rights, windows, and contractual obligations.
Define and track KPIs and performance metrics, leveraging consumer insights and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize revenue.

Managing ongoing communications and relationship cadences with Physical Disc distribution partners across US and providing guidance to international market local distribution partners.
Manage release calendars, pricing, promotional programs, and retail execution - optimizing packaging, placement, and promotional timing to maximize customer engagement and conversion.
Preparing and presenting partner business reviews, title or portfolio performance summaries, and library content opportunity analyses.
Lead and develop a high-performing team (direct and indirect reports) setting clear priorities, fostering accountability, and building the capabilities needed to execute across a high-volume release slate.
