Job description

Delivery Driver

We are a DSP for Amazon operating out of the Orland warehouse. We are looking for qualified, responsible, mindful people to deliver Amazon packages in the counties surrounding this warehouse.

Compensation: Starting pay $21.25 an hour

Shifts are full days and fall between the hours of: 8:40 AM - 8:30 PM

As a delivery driver at Deliverimates, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at Amazon warehouse: WTH1

Delivery driver responsibilities:

  • Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws
  • Use smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely, professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
  • Report any issues, incidents, injuries, or problems to dispatch immediately
  • Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).
