An Amazon Delivery Contract job involves partnering with Amazon to deliver packages as an independent contractor. Depending on the program, you may operate as an owner of a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business or as an individual driver through Amazon Flex. DSP owners manage a team of drivers and a fleet of vans, while Flex drivers use their own vehicles to deliver packages. A typical day for an Amazon Delivery Contract driver starts with picking up a pre-sorted load of packages at a designated Amazon delivery station. You'll use a smartphone or routing device to efficiently navigate a set delivery route, making numerous stops to deliver packages to residential and business locations. Throughout the day, you'll interact with customers, scan packages for tracking purposes, and sometimes lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
