Job description

Prototype Security team is searching for a program manager who is able to develop, implement, and lead security projects and programs to support Amazon's prototype device teams. This position will provide Intellectual Property (IP) Protection strategic guidance to all pre-release consumer electronic devices and will support the overall security posture for Amazon's key customer teams in the technology and product manufacturing space. This role will have a global reach to ensure consistent IP Protection & confidentiality programs are provided and implemented to prototype development projects. In this position, the Product Security Specialist will have regular engagement with product lines to create and foster an engagement model to ensure security has a seat at the table with Amazon device product lines

To be successful in this position the Product Security Security must have the ability to learn Amazon's product development process, build strong relationships with key business teams, develop and innovate solutions to enable automation of manual data entry processes. The Product Security Security must have a solid understanding of data collection methods and data analysis, to inform programmatic decision making and policy direction.
This position will report to the Prototype Security Product Security Mgr
Key job responsibilities
Manage Prototype Security's cross functional project risk evaluation process for new product lines assigned to this role.
Facilitate discussion and implementation of security strategy among project stakeholders across the stakeholder groups.
Communicate, internally and externally, Prototype Security decisions and ensure those decisions are properly implemented.
Serve as the primary Prototype Security point of contact for all device teams that support specific product lines.
Serve as the embedded Prototype Security liaison to connect business stakeholders with Prototype Security programs and services
Serve as the subject matter security expert to internal business stakeholders on IP Protection, supply chain risk, go-to-market strategy, confidentiality, and additional stages of product development.
Perform Project Risk Evaluations to provide project stakeholders with an IP Protection executive summary highlighting overall risks and threats to the project.
Work cross functionally with peers in Legal, Hardware, Supply Chain Ops, Trade & Compliance, EHS, and Security to establish scalable Prototype Security standards.
Represent Prototype Security and provide IP risk guidance in critical business review, core team, and all hands meetings.
Design and develop an internal system for project information sharing for the larger Prototype Security team.
Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and risk throughout Amazon's product development process.
Work collaboratively with team members to determine strategic direction for the larger Prototype Security team.
Respond to crisis, emergency, and/or disaster recovery issues that have impact on prototype development.
Support Business Continuity planning and process implementation for product teams and Prototype Security team.
Develop and implement security contract language to enhance and support the security of Amazon's IP and device product development.
Assist in the development of Prototype Security awareness materials, to include online training modules, and be willing to deploy and conduct in person training sessions, employee outreach events, educational posters and handout material.
Actively evaluate, analyze, and use metrics collected to proactively inform programmatic needs and policy decisions.
Assist in the development, drafting, and publication of policies and standards related to the global prototype security program
