TOWN AND COUNTRY COURIERS, AN AMAZON DELIVERY SERVICE PARTNER, IS HIRING DRIVERS (DELIVERY ASSOCIATES) at the new St. Peter's, MO Delivery Station!

General Responsibilities:

  • Our Delivery Associates/Drivers drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community
  • You can plan on a typical working day being 8 to 10 hours
  • Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road
  • You interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • You use handheld technology to manage the delivery process and solve obstacles
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
  • May assist in training other team members and help coworkers

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing (CDL not required)
  • US Work Authorization
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Operate and navigate a large delivery van with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 lbs. or less
  • Able to move, lift or push boxes up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Capable of getting in and out of van every few minutes (up to 200 times/day) to deliver up to 170 packages/day
  • Effectively operate a GPS

Qualifications:

  • Loves to drive and is passionate about customer service
  • Adaptable and independent problem solver
  • Consent to a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug test
  • Safe driving record
  • Commercial (or work-related) driving experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude
