SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
  • Build web-based applications, user interfacesand backend softwarethat automates business processes
  • Analyze work flow to determine inefficiencies and opportunities for automation engineering
  • Design, implement, test, and launch internal tools
  • Maintain existing tools as well as infrastructure
  • Develop internal database expertise and manage data pulls
Ideal candidate:
Understands the end user and can create simple, elegant solutions
  • Loves to learn and develop new skills continuously
  • Always understands why something needs to be built not just what needs to be built
  • Has a strong sense of ownership in every application he / she builds
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree preferred in Computer Science or related major with a strong academic record
  • Fluency in Java and J2EE
  • Experience with UNIX, preferably Linux
  • Experience with building and maintaining applications using MVC frameworks is strongly desired
  • Experience with Open Source tools
  • Experience in Compliance, Payments and Mobile Apps a plus
  • Experience in Amazon Web Services a plus, but not required
