AWS Developer
 
Location: 3 days onsite (Tuesdays - THursdays) in Malvern PA. 
 
 
This mission-critical role serves as the backbone of our infrastructure and data pipeline integration. You will spearhead the technical framework that empowers our data ecosystem, ensuring robust cloud-to-ground connectivity and maintaining secure, high-efficiency environments.
Technical Stack & Requirements:
Infrastructure: AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SNS, IAM (policies), and EC2 management (troubleshooting, AMI configurations).
Deployment: Deep proficiency with client’s internal "CloudBlocks" (wrapper over CloudFormation).
Programming: Python (for Lambda functions).
Strategic Responsibility: Act as the lead authority for resolving infrastructure-level impediments, encompassing cross-account access, S3 governance, and the continuous maintenance of event-driven architectures.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in cloud development.
Expertise in managing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure.
Strong understanding of event models and serverless architecture.
Experience with GitHub Actions for deployment automation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years of hands-on AWS development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
Experience developing cloud-native microservices and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Asset Management, or FinTech.
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
Familiarity with AI/ML integrations using Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker.
Knowledge of event streaming technologies such as Kafka or Amazon MSK.
Experience implementing secure coding practices and cloud security controls.
