Job description

We are looking for an IP Research Associate who is passionate about global content trends, English-language fiction, and short-form storytelling. This role will support IP discovery, trend research, and content analysis across emerging entertainment ecosystems.

The ideal candidate is highly engaged with online content culture and has a strong understanding of audience engagement, content consumption behaviors, and storytelling trends across platforms.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor content platforms and market trends across ecosystems such as BookTok, Amazon, Wattpad, TikTok, and other emerging content communities
  • Identify and research potential English-language IPs, including web novels, short drama concepts, and trending story themes
  • Track trending genres, audience preferences, emotional themes, and content direction shifts
  • Support weekly trend tracking, rankings research, and content information gathering
  • Maintain internal content databases, tagging systems, and organized research record
  • Assist with basic content analysis, content tagging, and AI-assisted research and organizational support activities
  • Conduct all research and analysis activities in compliance with company intellectual property, copyright, confidentiality, and data protection policies
  • Research findings, reports, databases, analyses, and work product created during employment are the property of the Company and subject to Company confidentiality and intellectual property policies
  • Monitor publicly available content trends, rankings, and discussions across content platforms, online communities, and entertainment ecosystem
  • This role focuses on content research, trend analysis, and IP evaluation and is not responsible for creating, adapting, or authoring original content


QUALIFICATION

  • Strong interest in global content ecosystems, including fiction, short dramas, anime, gaming, and online entertainment culture
  • Strong English reading comprehension and content analysis skill
  • Familiarity with platforms such as BookTok, Amazon, Wattpad, Reddit, TikTok, or similar online communities
  • Strong understanding of popular commercial fiction and entertainment genres, audience preferences, and storytelling trend
  • Understanding of intellectual property, copyright, and content ownership principles is preferred
  • Strong organizational and research skills with attention to detail
  • Passion for storytelling, entertainment, and content trends



PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
