Job description

Join Amazon's Fire TV organization as a Principal Product Manager - Technical, where you'll act as the single-threaded product leader for a prestigious global TV brand's entire Fire TV lineup. This is your opportunity to drive product strategy and innovation for a world-class partner whose devices deliver entertainment experiences to millions of customers across the globe.
Key job responsibilities
* Understand the needs and related trends for customers, TV partners, and offline consumer electronics retailers
* Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
* Work closely with the TV partner to define a strategy that drives growth, innovation and delights customers
* Define the global roadmap for TVs including TV line-up, specifications, software features working backwards from customers, partners, industry and business needs
* Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
* Work closely with engineering, program management, and QA teams to implement and deliver the product, on-time and exceeding a high-quality bar
* Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering, UX and commercial teams.
* Drive product launches in concert with Engineering, Go to Market, operations, PR and other teams

* Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap, product requirements
* Write BRDs, strategy docs, or PRFAQs
* Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
* Work with go-to-market, business development, finance, PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs
