This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Ecommerce Product Catalog & Research Analyst based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of product data quality and digital merchandising operations within a growing e-commerce environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that product information is accurate, consistent, and optimized across multiple online platforms. Working at the intersection of data analysis, content management, and e-commerce strategy, you will help improve customer experiences and drive better product visibility. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a passion for improving digital storefront performance. You will collaborate with marketing, content, and operations teams to maintain high-quality catalogs and identify opportunities for optimization. Accountabilities
  • Manage and maintain product catalog accuracy across multiple e-commerce platforms and internal content management systems.
  • Review, update, and optimize product titles, descriptions, images, metadata, and categorization according to SEO standards and platform-specific requirements.
  • Conduct regular product listing audits to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, missing information, or merchandising issues.
  • Research and resolve catalog errors, mismatches, and data quality issues to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Support the development and maintenance of product taxonomies, attributes, and SKU structures for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and operational teams to ensure products are represented effectively across digital channels.
  • Monitor e-commerce platform updates, competitor activity, and category trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze catalog performance data and provide insights to support merchandising decisions and optimization strategies.
  • Contribute to improving catalog processes, workflows, and automation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product catalog management, e-commerce operations, digital merchandising, or a similar analytical/content-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, Magento, or similar solutions.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and digital product data workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of product information with accuracy and consistency.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles, product taxonomy, metadata optimization, and online merchandising best practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret product data.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with PIM systems, catalog automation tools, or product information workflows is considered an advantage.
