Role Overview
  • Accenture is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to support Amazon's Project Kuiper initiative. This role will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights across multiple enterprise systems to support program execution, risk visibility, and operational performance.
  • The ideal candidate will operate independently in a complex AWS environment, proactively identify and extract data from multiple systems (AWS databases, Jira, Testrail, and other internal platforms), and build scalable reporting solutions using Amazon QuickSight.
  • This role requires strong AWS data querying expertise, advanced BI capabilities, and the ability to work closely with Amazon program and engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently identify, source, and integrate data from multiple enterprise systems including AWS databases, Jira, Testrail, and other operational tools.
  • Query AWS data platforms (e.g., Redshift, Athena, RDS, S3-backed datasets) to extract accurate data for reporting.
  • Design and develop robust dashboards and visualizations using Amazon QuickSight to support Kuiper program tracking.
  • Build reporting frameworks to provide visibility into program performance, risk metrics, operational KPIs, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with Amazon program managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and governance across reporting outputs.
  • Support executive-level reporting, program reviews, and risk communication efforts.
  • Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in BI Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience querying AWS data platforms (Redshift, Athena, RDS, etc.).
  • Proven experience building production dashboards in Amazon QuickSight.
  • Advanced SQL skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience integrating data from systems such as Jira, Testrail, and other program management tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL logic, and data validation processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting program management, risk management, and executive reporting in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience supporting Amazon or large-scale technology programs.
  • Experience working within Accenture delivery models or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Exposure to aerospace, satellite, or hardware-driven programs (Kuiper context preferred but not required).
