Job description

PATTERN Beauty is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Amazon Account Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing. Amazon is the fastest growing channel at PATTERN, so we need an experienced manager to drive its continued expansion and elevate it to new heights.

This critical role will oversee the daily operations of our 3P Amazon business, including account management, inventory monitoring, backend optimizations, brand content & advertising.

The Amazon Account Manager will collaborate closely with the DTC and marketing teams, while receiving coaching and professional development in a dynamic, results-driven, and highly collaborative environment.

Candidates MUST be based in the Los Angeles area as this role is hybrid and is required to be in the West Hollywood office three times a week.

  • Assist the VP of Digital with day-to-day operations of the Amazon account.
    • Implement regular content refreshes, ensuring brand consistency across the portfolio.
    • Inventory Management: support regular stock fulfillment cycles, coordinate with supply chain teams & executive product forecasting.
    • Assist in the execution of product listing optimization by leveraging SEO best-practices.
    • Assist with ongoing product suppression audits & account health.
    • Review competitor websites to ensure industry alignment with categorization, promotions, and trends
  • Brand/Product Content
    • Work with the creative team to develop content for the PATTERN brand storefront, product pages and ads.
    • Launch new products with best-in-class content strategies across PDPs.
    • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the existing product pages and Brand Stores
    • Manage the merchandising and upload of all new content (images, videos, etc.)
  • Backend Optimizations:
    • Ongoing analysis of FBA fees to identify cost-saving opportunities
    • Collaborate with the finance team to analyze channel profit margin & strategies to consistently improve net revenue.
    • Monitor storage fees & aging skus, implementing strategies to minimize removal orders.
    • Monitor shipments, unfulfillable inventory, product suppressions & escalations as needed.
  • Sales & Marketing:
    • Audit and optimize the use of brand marketing tools such as Subscribe & Save, Buy with Prime, A+ Content and additional in-platform marketing opportunities.
    • Collaborate with our Amazon SVS manager & the Amazon Black Business Accelerator team to create new opportunities for brand visibility and partnership.
    • Launch a new Amazon affiliate program, developing & executing on strategy & sales growth.
  • Amazon Advertising
    • Act as the primary liaison with PATTERN's paid media agency to deliver on sales targets & ensure business objectives are met by the agency.
    • Monitor ad spend strategies to ensure high-margin products are being prioritized.
    • Brief in all ad content & work directly with the in-house creative team to develop a regular cadence of new ad content that aligns with the overarching marketing calendar.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, buy box wins, etc.) and provide actionable insights.
    • Prepare regular reports to inform strategic decisions
  • Support with TikTok Shop
    • Partner with TikTok Shop agency to provide product catalog support

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in Amazon account management & e-commerce operations
  • Strong expertise in Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Comfortable managing a 50+ ASIN count catalog and driving double digit growth
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience monitoring paid ad performance in Campaign Manager
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, Looker, or similar.
  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Professional experience managing multiple projects and priorities
  • A solid self-starter mentality and ability to own and drive projects independently, but also a strong team player
  • An understanding of how key messaging and visuals educate the customer and incentivize conversion
  • Hands-on experience in A+ content management
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with Taboola ad formats a plus
  • Adobe and Photoshop Experience a plus
Salary Range: $90,000 to $95,000 annually
