WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A PREP COOK

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A PREP COOK
  • Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat and fish
  • Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables
  • Use a commercial food processor to prep foods
  • Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
  • Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion control scale
  • Label, date, and store prepped product
  • Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
