• Conduct thorough evaluation services for patients, including collecting relevant medical history, administering specific assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans based on findings.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, promoting active involvement in goal-setting and treatment decisions.
• Apply evidence-based treatment protocols and demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse orthopedic conditions based on patient evaluations and presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing and documenting any significant changes in a patient's condition that necessitate alterations in the treatment plan.
• Oversee discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care is arranged, alongside accurately documenting all patient care activities to reflect the progression and outcomes of treatment.
• Utilize effective time management skills to meet productivity targets while maintaining a consistent and organized schedule.
• Engage actively in departmental goals and compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to ongoing quality improvement efforts.
• Take initiative for continuous professional development by pursuing relevant educational opportunities and mentoring students during their clinical placements.
• Promote a positive customer experience, adjusting services to meet patients' needs and preferences.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility of our services and improve access to care.

You will work primarily with patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these patients toward recovery, enhancing their quality of life through personalized, skilled therapy practices.

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Virginia Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Valid CPR certification is essential.

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in managing a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with current evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
