Job Summary:
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner in our Weekend Alternative Program, you'll work independently to provide patient-centered, evidence-based respiratory care across the continuum of care. You'll serve as a clinical and technical resource for all age-specific respiratory modalities, mentor less experienced RCPs, and help lead care planning alongside an interprofessional team. This limited, 24-hour weekend schedule is a great option if you're looking for a dedicated weekend commitment rather than a traditional full-time schedule. You will also recieve an addtional 25% on you hourly pay for weekend work.

Who Should Apply:
  • Associate's degree in respiratory therapy, respiratory care, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in age-specific critical care, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care, in accordance with entity-specific scope of practice.
  • Internal employees must go through the competency assessment to advance through the competency-based program
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • Graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Current state-specific Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
  • Where applicable:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and STABLE certification when trained in NICU.

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
