Job description

Job title: Mechanical Test Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

•            Good knowledge and experience of Mechanical testing such as Environmental, Shock, Vibration, Drop, IP, Salt spray corrosion, chemical resistance, UV weathering etc.

•             Experienced in LEAN, Six Sigma, and/or DFSS are highly preferred.

•             Demonstrated expertise with statistical analysis tools, such as miniTAB, JMP,  Tableau utilizing data to support decision making and problem identification processes.

•             Experience in the use of reliability tools such as DFMEA, FTA, HALT, HASS.

•             Experienced in Creation and execution of effective DVP&R's . Design and execute complex testing programs to quantify the performance and reliability of critical and/or new technologies and designs . Supporting fixture designing

•             Experience in Accelerated testing of mechanical and electrical systems and machines. Sound and vibration testing

•             Demonstrated in Measurement systems analysis using oscilloscope, microscope, sensor, DAQ etc

•             Experienced in Reliability and endurance testing, HALT, ALT, HASS, etc.

•             Experienced in Execution of Reliability tests in the lab, mainly work on mechanical tests . Report of test result with good data visualization

•             Ability to interpret and create technical standards

•             Ability to evaluate the impact of decisions on reliability, warranty, product safety and customer acceptance.

•             Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
