Job description

Job Summary:

As a Guest Services staff member, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the venue while engaging with attendees to address their needs before, during, and after the event. Your attention to detail and customer service skills contribute to creating a positive experience for all patrons.

Job Functions:

v Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty. Answer inquiries to resolve our customer concerns through analysis to determine the most effective resolution.

v Adapt to customer needs ensuring that they are understood, and appropriate action is taken to meet and exceed their expectations.

v Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

v Solicit sales of new or additional services or products.

v Keep records of customer interactions or transaction, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as action taken.

vParticipate in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

v Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

v May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

v Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

v Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.

v Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

v Additional tasks as requested by management.

This position starts at $16.00 per hour

Qualifications:

v High School Diploma or equivalent

v At least 2 years in Customer Service and communications suggested

v Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills

v Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

v Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

v A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

v Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
