Job description

JMA Pediatrics, is seeking a full-time medical billing person with 2-3 yrs experience to join our team at our Raleigh office. Allscripts PM experience preferred but not required.

MEDICAL BILLING RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Resultsdriven individual with attention to detail
  • Strong skillset of Medical Coding
  • Familiarity with CPT & ICD10 codes particularly in the pediatric setting
  • Responsible for detailed coding and charge entry
  • Followup with insurance companies on pending claims
  • Allscripts/Veradigm PM/EMR preferred but not required
  • Experience with PayerPath preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service and effective communication with providers and insurance carriers
  • Responsible for communication of monthly report assignment
  • Assist front office staff with billing questions in a courteous and timely manner
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
