Medical Receptionist – Full‑Time Contract (42 Hours/Week) Overview

This full‑time Medical Receptionist contract role provides the opportunity to support a busy healthcare office by managing front‑desk operations and working within electronic medical record (EMR) systems. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 42 hours per week. The assignment is initially set for 6 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front‑desk reception duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems, including Epic ClinDoc, Allscripts Enterprise EHR, OHM, and other EMRs
  • Maintain accurate patient information and support clinical workflows
  • Ensure compliance with the annual flu‑shot requirement during flu season
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to patients and staff
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in any of the following:
    • Allscripts Enterprise EHR
    • Other EMR systems
    • Epic ClinDoc
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced medical office environment
  • Reliable, professional, and detail‑oriented
