Job description

The Staff Nurse provides care to patients and their families in the ambulatory care setting based on standards of nursing practice. Assesses patients, develops nursing care plan for treating actual or potential health problems, and provides education and counseling; delegates tasks when necessary.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited colleges or universities - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
  • New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Ability to assess and reassess patients.
  • Ability to perform assigned point of care testing (ex. Glucometer)
  • Computer application skills - ALLSCRIPTS and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
