Job description

Facility in Quincy, IL seeking CRNA locums coverageRates: 260/hrOpportunity Highlights
  • Consistent Daytime Schedule: Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. No 10s or 12s, no call, and no weekends for this daytime schedule.
  • Team-Based Model: You will work under Medical Direction, typically with a ratio of 3 CRNAs per 1 MD, and potentially an SRNA. You will not work solo.
  • Diverse Case Mix: Cover anesthesia for an average of 60 cases per day between the main hospital (140 beds, Level II Trauma) and the Surgery Center. Cases include Ortho (lots of total joints), low-acuity Peds (no NICU/PICU), Neuro, Plastics, OB, ENT, GI, and Urology/Cystoscopies. Note: Physicians perform all cardiac cases and all blocks.
  • EMR System: Currently using AllScripts, with a transition to Epic beginning in 2026.
  • Contract Length: Seeking a 6-month contract, with ongoing potential.
Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on anesthesia care in the OR, ASC, GI Lab, and EP Lab.
  • Manage anesthesia for a wide variety of general, orthopedic, and low-acuity pediatric cases.
  • Rotate to cover breaks and lunches for the anesthesia team.
Provider Requirements
  • Board Certification: NBCRNA Certification is Required. New graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Licensure: An active Illinois State License is Required. The facility is willing to license new candidates, but please advise applicants that licensing takes approximately 3 months, leading to a start date 5-6 months out.
  • Experience: No minimum required experience level.
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
  • Commitment: Must be able to provide a minimum of one full week (M-F) per month, though more is preferred.
  • Scheduling: Please confirm the provider is open to 8-hour shifts (7:00-3:30) and has no set restrictions preventing scheduling flexibility.
